Microneedling/Dermaroller

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles (hence the name microneedling) with the help of dermapen or dermaroller.

The purpose is to create microinjuries which initiate the process of wound healing and stimulates collagen and elastin production.

Microneedling is less expensive than laser treatments, which can cost about four times as much.

Microneedling may work better for people with darker skin tones because it doesn’t involve heat the way laser treatments do, which can affect your skin’s pigmentation, or color.
